Go big or go home — Tammy Miller went about as big as you get.
Chasing big game that can top out at 1500lbs — with a bow? Oh, Hell yeah!
Throw this story in the face of some guy who thinks only the bros can hunt.
Here’s one chick who got her name added to the record books in Vermont. Which is pretty cool, really.
There’s her name, right there courtesty of the Vermont Big Game Trophy Club:
Of course, not everyone was impressed.
While some comments celebrated her hard work and accomplishment, there were enough of that ‘other’ kind that Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department had to put this reminder in the comments section:
The department is asking commenters to stop the name-calling.
“We ask those who disagree with Jennifer to remain respectful,” the department wrote. “There’s nothing wrong with a healthy discussion on the ethics of hunting and a diversity of opinions on the subject.”
What’s the matter?
Doesn’t the left like a strong, independant woman?
There really is no pleasing some people.
Here’s a shirt for real men (and women, too):
Why be average? It’s so overrated.
Everyone does that.
If you don’t think so, add some more meat to your diet and read this while you wait for your steak to grill:
If a person looked to Scripture and paid particular attention to the passages within the Bible that address the topic of hunting, then they’d walk away thinking not only is hunting animals tolerated but it is endorsed by God. And that’s exactly what this little book is about: proving that God, from Genesis to Revelation, is extremely cool with hunters and hunting. I’ll go out on a biblical limb and claim right off the bat that you cannot show me, through the balance of the Bible, that the God of the Scripture is against the responsible killing and the grilling of the animals He created. ~Doug Giles
