This guy is really sick.
Like, really, really sick!
A man who was charged with killing the family dog and putting it in a barbecue ‘smoker’ said the said ‘the devil’ made him do it, according to police.
Patrick Zane Thompson, 42, of West Mohave Street in Goodyear, Arizona, was arrested on Saturday and charged with multiple animal cruelty counts, along with assault and threatening charges, after family said he began acting erratically in the home.
Thompson saw that his 17-year-old daughter was wearing a T-shirt that he thought had devilish overtones, and that ‘God’ told him he would have to make a ‘male sacrifice’ in order to atone, according to AZ Central.
Rather than sacrifice himself or his six-year-old son, he allegedly grabbed the family’s white 15-pound poodle as his wife and children begged him to stop and tried to flee the house.
He then allegedly strangled it, and put it in an industrial-sized meat smoker housed in a trailer in the yard because he believed he had to put the dog in a ‘lake of fire,’ according to KPHO.
