Our friend and fellow hunter Baron V Goldinger just showed more respect for the US and its flag than anyone else we could think of.
It’d be great if ALL Americans cared this much.
I was moved. I was very moved. A feeling somewhere between sadness on one side and hope for the human race on the other. The men we tend to label as savages, the men who were under my flag taking pictures with me in Papua. When we were done, purely out of his own doing and initiative for no apparent gain of any sort, he folded the flag like he was handling the biggest treasure and like I bestow the highest honor upon him. And so he handed it to me bowing his head firmly but respectfully and with dignity, handed me my own flag with both his arms extended. I think I might’ve turned around and let a tear drop, thinking how in America, ironically many so called compatriots, they trample, spit, defecate on and burn this flag. It pains my heart to no ends. It takes only men that have won or in this case still fight for their freedom to understand what his flag means to a man. You can even see the goose bumps on that man’s skin as he hands me my flag.
Thank you Baron V Goldinger
