An unidentified tiger in Sunderbans National Park, India took matters into its own hands…err, teeth…when he pulled a man from his boat and carried him into the jungle after discovering him poaching.

Sushil Manjhi, 62, was illegally crabbing in the park with his son and daughter when the tiger attacked. The Odisha Sun Times reports that the children tried beating the Bengal tiger off their father with sticks to no avail. The son told the AP that the tiger, “quickly flung my father on his back and gave a giant leap before disappearing into the forest.”

The crab poacher is presumed dead.

This attack, that occurred two days ago, marks the forth fatal tiger attack in the Sunderbans this year.

Hunting was outlawed in India in the late 1970’s.

Remember kids, don’t poach in tiger country!
