The sharks were really busy around Santa Barbara this week, Thursday, in particular, was a hungry day for them.

First, one shark took a 15″ bite out of a kayak, not far from the owner’s arm. The boat flipped, and Bret Jackson was dumped into the ocean.

He scrambled back onto his kayak and started calling for help. His boat was taking on water, but he managed to get rescued by another boat.

That same day, a paddle-boarder had a run-in with sharks.

A 7-8 foot shark took a run at his paddle-board, biting the nose.

He wasn’t injured.
